In our hospital, we inaugurated the International Medical Support Office in April, 2013 for international patients’ comforts. Also, we have acquired the authorization of JCI and JMIP since 2015 and have been accepting lots of international patients every year. In addition to staff in the International Medical Support Office (English, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Guarani), Indonesian/Malay speaking staff also works here so that now we support the international patients by the whole hospital.
We accept those who are traveling around Hokkaido and get sick on their trip, who would like to receive medical treatment or medical check-up in Japan, or who are resident in Japan. We do our best to remove any anxiety of the patients through the conversations and make them feel relaxed for the treatments. Feel free to have some talks with us about the things that you feel anxious for or wonder about through the cultural differences.

At our hospital, in addition to the staff at the International Medical Support Office, we have some in-house language support staff. Also, we provide patients with such as electronic-device-based interpreter service. If you are in need of language support, please ask the staff at the reception when you visit. |
